Daily Park Trips!
Not only does your pet enjoy up to 10 hours of fun and supervised daycare, we bring all those who enjoy it to a nearby dog park each day!! It's like a free walking service included into the cost, which is no small bargain! There is also no problem if this option doesn't suit your pet and they would prefer to stay on location, and enjoy a leash walk. We go at regular times and are very familiar with the daily walkers and their dogs, which helps keep safety at a maximum. This feature, in addition to romping with pack friends and lots of fun play time with the staff, makes us second-to-none in terms of a full experience for your dog.
Safe and Thorough Supervision!
Our kind and knowledgeable staff are hands-on in the daycare space all day. We don't watch the dogs play through a window or from another room. We're right there, in person, for every second of action or napping, open to close!
Awesome Facebook Group and Photos!
Most companies have a general Facebook page, but our private group which is exclusive for clients, is really something else. Throughout the week Kelsey takes tons of pictures, primarily at the park, of our pack in action. Even after selecting the best ones and editing them down, the end result is hundreds of photos of your pets at play with us each week! This gives owners a great insight of what their dogs do with us, who their canine playmates are, and just how much fun they're having. Check our public social media hubs, like Instagram, for a small sampling of what you'll see. Don't use Facebook? Let us know and we can find a way that works to get occasional pics sent or shown to you.
Home-style Boarding!
We offer boarding exclusively to pre-approved daycare clients. After spending a whole day at daycare (included free in the cost), your pup will join us at our house to snack, snuggle, and sleep, in the comfort of a home environment. Your pet gets to keep busy and be surrounded by familiar faces, the entire time you're away!

This should speak for itself. In our lengthy history we have used a minimum of advertising, as our reputation and word-of-mouth referrals have been enough to spread our good name. Owner and founder, Kelsey, worked in vet care for over 10 years and has a vast knowledge of canine health and behaviour. Co-Owner Jim, has been providing dedicated care to the Barkingham clients for over 18 years. We also come highly recommended by many East York veterinarians! There is no substitute for our level of experience in this business. It's one of the reasons we were awarded "Best Daycare\Boarding" by Toronto Pet Daily for 2015 & 2016 & 2017 - all three years we entered!

We know that dogs have their own idea of "the royal treatment", and it has a lot more to do with belly rubs and slobbery tennis balls than Shiatsu massage. Our philosophy places experienced care, genuine concern, heartfelt affection and endless fun above all else.
